Is this unusual? Would you feel the same way?

So I am lesbian, and I have a crush on a friend that is also a lesbian. I admitted it to her, and she claimed that it would be immoral because she is 44 and I am 23. Yet she keeps calling me and stopping by. I told her I wanted to end the friendship because it would be too complicated for me. She doesn't seem to be taking the hint. Am I wrong for wanting to end it? Why won't she let me end it? I don't get it?
