It was given to me In the year 1980 when my boss was head of the audio-visual department. "Canon CAMERA CO. INC. MADE IN JAPAN 1094061", is encrypted on back besides focus. Also encrypted inside of lens is "CANON LENS SE 45mm 1:19 Caron Camera Co. Inc.
