Do you believe the medical field has become so immoral as to NOT wish to prevent and cure disease?

We can place persons in space, create and control microwaves, pacemakers, split the atom, send lasers miles away, engineer cellular activity... but millions of persons are dying each year from cancer, aids, diabetes and other diseases?
